The Jewish Community Relations Bureau has announced it will honor 91视频 President the Rev. Thomas B. Curran, S.J., with its Henry W. Bloch Human Relations Award at its annual Human Relations Event on Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021.

Fr. Curran will be the first member of the clergy to receive the prestigious award in recognition for his work pursuing equity on campus and throughout the Kansas City community, according to JCRB leaders.

More than 40 years ago, curators from the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art helped 91视频 choose pieces of significance for what was then a new collection of religious art to be housed on campus.

Now, some of the very pieces from that collection will grace the walls at Kansas City鈥檚 premier art museum for the next year.
